When will The Pier be open?

The Pier is presently open and residents are moving in.

 

How many cottages will be at The Pier at completion?

With Phase II there will be 80 cottages. The Pier is planned for 250 cottages and paired homes at build out.

 

What is the Greek Village at The Pier?

The Greek Village is an area of The Pier designated for fraternity sorority members to live during their college years.

 

How far is it from The Pier to the Clemson campus?

The Pier is 5 minutes (2 miles) from campus, with NO traffic lights.

 

How many floor plans are there to choose from?

There are 9 different floor plans to choose from. 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 bedrooms each with their own private bath and a separate ½ bath for guests.

 

Do you have 1 lease per cottage or individual leases?

Individual leases.

 

How long is the lease agreement?

The lease agreement is for 1 year.

 

Do you offer roommate matching?

Yes, there is a form you can complete online and send directly to management for roommate matching.

 

What kind of Amenities does The Pier offer?

Amenities include a boardwalk on Lake Hartwell with panoramic views, guest use of the award winning Hihgointe pool, lazy river and clubhouse.
Phase II will include a 6800 Sq. ft. clubhouse, resort style pool with fog deck misters and grotto, Basketball & Sand Volleyball courts specifically for The Pier.

 

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed with a $200 non-refundable fee per pet. Other restrictions may apply.

 

What appliances come with the cottage?

Stainless Steel Refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

 

Do the cottages have porches?

Yes.

 

Can I have a grill?

Yes, propane gas and electric grills are allowed. Natural gas will not be available.

 

Can I make 1 payment for rent and utilities per month?

Yes.

 

Is there onsite management and maintenance?

Yes.

 

Can I pay rent online or with a credit card?

In the near future.

 

Is there a shuttle service to campus?

Yes.

 

Is this community on the lake?

Yes, this community has over 3 miles of shoreline on Lake Hartwell. Phase II will include cottages on waterfront lots.

 

Who are the developers?

The Pier is developed by TomWinkopp Realtor/Developer LLC and built by Trehel Corporation. This is the same successful development team that brought Crawford Falls, Hart’s Cove and Highpointe to the Clemson community.
